Hala is one of the historical, literary, and religious spiritual town of Sindh. The town is also famous throughout the subcontinent for its works of art, pottery, wood, cloth printing, woven cloth (known as Sussi) that comes in various beautiful designs and khaddi which is hand-spun and hand-woven cloth made of khaddar (cotton).
